With offices spanning across Europe we design, install, and maintain specialist height safety and access equipment.

Each safety system or piece of equipment that we install requires a periodic inspection, just as a car requires an annual MOT.
Our Test & Inspection division, which you will be employed within provides this service.

Renewals Account Manager Role

An exciting vacancy has arisen in our Test and Inspection division which requires first class customer service skills to retain and develop our existing client base.

Your role will be to manage a database of existing clients to achieve set renewal targets by forging relationships with key contacts.
This will entail undertaking a review of the services being provided by ESL in a view to promoting additional added value services to maximise the basket size.

The successful candidate would be expected to make contact with clients in a timely manner via telephone and email. This information will then be regularly up-dated on our own internal customer relationship management software.
You will be expected to work towards set targets, both individual and team based.

We are looking for a person with a strong work ethic, personable manner and good attention to detail. The right person would ideally have previous experience in account management, making out-going sales calls and achieving targets.
Full training will be given to enable you to be successful in this position

Upon successful completion of your probation period, you will be entered in to our departmental commission scheme which is based upon our team’s performance.

Key responsibilities and duties

Using an existing database, you will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing clients contracts prior to calling to establish further opportunities.
• Contacting clients to discuss the renewal of their contract.
• Accurately inputting the information gathered into an in-house software system (ERP)
• Quoting and progressing these as relevant until won using a variety of structured sales techniques
• Working towards achieving both personal and team based targets
• Responding to customer enquiries
• Carrying out surveys and client meeting as and when required
• Ensuring workflows are kept up to date
• Data inputting.
• Answering Inbound telephone calls
• Making Outgoing telephone calls
• Attending training courses to develop relevant knowledge and skills
• Maintaining knowledge in relevant field at all times

Qualifications / Experience

Essential:

Sales / account management experience.
5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths & English.
Experience of hitting / exceeding targets
Ability to work on own initiative
Achieving objectives and deadlines with the minimum of supervision
Team working
Telephone sales

Desirable:

Working with fall protection systems
