Eurosafe Solutions offer a range of guardrail products, both fixed and freestanding, to provide collective edge protection to a majority of roof types in aluminium and steel for new build construction, refurbishment projects, and retro fit to existing buildings. All of our systems are supplied and installed in accordance with EN 13374:2013 + A1:2018 class A and EN 14122-3:2016.
Solidrail Aluminium Guardrail
Historically roof edge guardrail was designed as a purely functional and cost-effective solution with the aesthetics of the product being secondary to cost. Following feed back from our clients, especially in the new build sector, that the look and feel of the product was important to them, Eurosafe Solutions have designed Solidrail guardrail to provide a solution to this issue whilst still functioning to the standards required and at a price point that is the equal to the most cost-effective products on the market.
Solidrail guardrail is a flexible, lightweight edge protection system that can be installed in a freestanding format or fixed to the buildings structure. The stanchions can be supplied in a vertical or inclined format and are formed from rectangular box sections which give a much smaller end profile than tube, reducing their visual impact. The tubes are connected to the stanchions via a unique hidden drop in fitting that does not interfere with the aesthetic of the stanchion. Tubes come with a ferruled end allowing fast easy fitting without the need for an additional joiner.
The system comes with a full range of fittings for corners and deviations, and comes with locking gates and a clip on toe-board to allow the guardrail to be customised to suit your roof area.
Steel Tube and Clamp Systems
Tube and fitting type handrail systems in both a fixed and freestanding format offer a versatile, economical, and durable method of building guardrail systems in a variety of applications.
The cast fittings are available to suit a vast range of angles, joint details, bends that allow lengths of steel tube to be built up into a fixed permanent barrier on site without the need for expensive and time-consuming welding and elimination of the fire risks associated with this task.
The fixed option is available in different tube sizes, from 17.5mm to 60.3mm. The support stanchions that hold the fittings can be fixed back to the structure of the building using either a standard palmbase or we can design and fabricate a bespoke support bracket to suit the specific application.
The Flatbase guardrail system is completely freestanding which means there is no need to penetrate the roof membrane. A unique low profile base design means there are no unsightly counterbalance weights whilst a high-performance rubber mat placed between the base and the roof surface ensures no adverse effect on new or existing roof guarantees. For particularly delicate roof surfaces, a specially designed spreader plate gives added protection and peace of mind.
The system is reversible for totally unobstructed access which is ideal for fire escape routes, a safe passage around hazardous plant and machinery or roof lights. It comes with a fully galvanised (BS729) finish or can be powder coated in a range of colours to suit all our Clients’ requirements.
MSA Latchways VersiRail System
We are approved installers of the MSA Latchways VersiRail freestanding or fixed Aluminium guardrail system offering collective fall protection.
This system is the only guardrail available that is designed, tested, and approved to be fitted to Kalzip standing seam roofing systems, as well as Sika Sarnafil membrane roofs where a warranty is required.
The system is offered in various style options (curved, inclined, straight and folding), four fixing options (Slab mounting plate, wall mounting plate, Z-Type mounting plate, parapet mounting plate) as well as freestanding and three finishes (natural, polished or powder coated to a RAL colour) ensuring you can tailor the system to match your requirements and surroundings. Manufacturing the product in aluminium reduces the weight of the product by around 30% compared to steel systems for when loading’s to the roof are an issue whilst still providing a high-quality material to ensure its performance and its durability.
VersiRail is fully tested to EN 13374 at 2.5 m spacing’s for the freestanding system and to EN 14122-3 at 1.5 m spacing’s for the fixed system and can be adapted to suit all maintenance requirements on your project.
